Professional Information

In 2003, Dr. Ivan T. Lima Jr. received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County in Baltimore, MD, USA. Since 2003, Dr. Lima has been a full-time faculty member in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at North Dakota State University, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering with tenure. Dr. Lima is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of North Dakota since May 2017 (license #: PE-10929) in the following specialties within Electrical and Computer Engineering: Electronics, Controls, and Communications. Dr. Lima is a Senior Member of the IEEE Photonics Society, a Senior Member of the Optical Society of America (OSA), and a Senior Member of the SPIE: the international society for optics and photonics.
